anyone know of a suitable junction box to take Three twin and earth core cables with a minimum 40 amp rating. e.g. 1 feed in 2 feeds out

If you use a changeover switch like the one in your other thread, you will not need to have a joint such as this.

I generally use an adaptable box with connector blocks of the correct rating inside, but I like to keep joints down to a minimum in all cases, especially with high currents.

I can't remember ever having had an adaptable box supplied with connectors.

Terribly sorry chaps. I was referring to the plastic ones, not the metal ones. The plastic IP65 adaptable boxes come with current rated terminal strips which click into place. You can get 41A rated ones. Apologies for misleading you.

I haven't seen them in plastic adaptable boxes either.

Do you mean gewiss type boxes?

If it is for indoor use TLC sell a 60A junction box which has pretty big terminals (large enough to run 2x10mm T&E into one side)
