40mm hole through 9" cavity wall

hi guys,

what tool(s) do i need to drill a 40mm (ish) hole for a sink waste pipe through a 9" cavity wall?

get a core hole drill. you can get them for about £10 if its a one off job, but youll also need and sds drill, preferably with a safety clutch (voice of experiance ouch!)

If you havnt got them you can hire them out fairly cheaply for the day, other wise its the old fashioned method of a cold chisel, bolster and making good around
