50% Area For Permitted Development

Does anyone know whether you should take into account the front area of the house when working out how much of the 50% has been used?

I don't think the rules differentiate between front and back garden, just land around the property.

yes all land on the plot minus the original house
so if the plots 150 and the house is 50 the land is 100
