6 sq mm should do it, provided the cable isn't run in insulation, but why not use 10 sq mm in case of future upgrades. (I didn't think anybody fitted 7kW showers any more... are you a skinflint landlord?

100% agree - if you've not bought the shower yet, I'd strongly advise you to reconsider. 7kW is very feeble.
If you have already bought it, then use 10mm², and then on the day the shower expires, you can heave a sigh of relief knowing that you can now get a decent one and that the wiring is in place to cope with it.
