Our Triton shower runs lovely and warm in the evening but stone cold in the morning.

Any ideas on why this is ?

We can only conclude that it is a water pressure issue with more people using water on our estate in the morning before they go to work.

I would replace the shower but it seems pointless if it wont solve the problem.

Thanks in advance.

That is the answer - electric showers require a minimum flow and pressure to operate. If either are too low, the heater in the shower won't be activated.

Part of the cause may be that the stop tap for your house or other valves on the pipe supplying the shower are not opened fully.
Or there may be scale blocking the pipes, blocked filter in the shower etc.

That reminds me of when we bought our first house (many years ago). When we moved in we noticed that the water flow was very slow, so we called in a plumber. He fully opened the stop cock and all was well!

We were a little naive in those days.

He wouldn't accept any payment either, but we gave him a fiver for his trouble and have used him since as we are aware that not all plumbers are so honest!
