80mm & 85mm cut out downlights

need to replace some downlights in kitchen and laundry. Phoned local electrical shop who said I would be fine with 72mm cut outs. Wont the springs be too far from the edges?

Err no. If the downlights need 80 and 85mm holes then a 72 cut out will be TOO small!

If the hole is too big then the bezel will not cover the gap and it will look just awful.

Or are the holes already there and are 80-85mm?

If so, but some lights that are big enough for the existing holes
 
whats what i thought but he was adement it would be ok. Ive just taken a 75mm fitting from outside to double check and it just slips in the hole.

Anyone recommend a fitting to use?
