Hi, We are replacing our copper soil stack with PVC. It runs internally, in a straight line, from bathroom floor down to kitchen floor where it enters a flanged clay pipe.
The copper waste pipe is 90mm in diameter and the hole in the clay pipe that it sits in looks to be the same (a very small amount of wiggle room). Is there a connector I can put in the clay pipe to connect to new 110mm PVC waste?

Would something like this work? - https://www.toolstation.com/mcalpin...8Ic2VDatWmJteXiRD_JxkGSTWzz8UWbRoCJ3EQAvD_BwE

This https://www.toolstation.com/mcalpine-drain-connector-110mm/p96056 is designed for the job.

Copper soil stack's are rare, the property must have been very well finished to warrant that expense!
Sorry for the late reply!

That's just what I thought I would need, thank you!

Apparently they were quite common in the type of house we're in (a Cornish Unit) but it absolutely is not finished to a high standard! Ha! It's the usual ex-council house from the 50s - wonky door frames, sloping floors, "creative" building work!

Thanks so much for your response!

we have them in some council flats built in the 50`s/60s along with copper window sills
Our Local Council saw fit to put a sheet copper roof on the Town Public Toilets a few years ago. It was later realised that, a. it was worth a bit as scrap and b. was likely to get pinched, so they replaced it with something cheaper.

I did ask if the Contractor gave them a credit for the scrap, they said yes.

Hope it wasnt the infamous Thrapston toilets ;)
