A. bin file missing.

I have AVG 8 free version. Did a full scan last night, when I turned on tonight I clicked on update now (as normal) the update box came up and I cliked update now but then a pop up appears saying A. bin file is missing. As its a freeware I can't seem to find any info on what problem is.
Before I reinstall avg any idea's..

I knew I should have looked here first, just spent an hour uninstalling & reinstalling AVG8 & generally fannying around.
