They'll probably announce that a shortage of meat is good for us as it's unhealthy and also rearing is not good for the planet and might even bring about a similar problem to covid again. Vegans would agree 100% also some greens but suspect not enough of them to help them gain votes.

Barmy Tory MP applauds thr breakdown of food distribution system

Chris Loder, a Tory MP, told a fringe meeting at the party conference that it would be a good thing for supermarket supply chains to “crumble”, even if it caused short-term problems.

“It will mean that the farmer down the street will be able to sell their milk in the village shop like they did decades ago."

Fear not, Brexers. The EU is riding to the rescue for your Christmas. Not only are we granting visas to EU poultry workers to get Boris out of the s*it, but The EU are sending emergency rations of turkey from France and Poland.

"We wish EU a merry Christmas"

[You couldn't make this stuff up!! It's a cracker!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Brexit: the Christmas gift that keeps on taking.]

UK farmers (many who voted for Brexit) have spent time and money raising Turkeys and pigs only to now destroy them as we will be imorting them from abroad. You could not write this as a comedy sketch, yet here we are because Brexit, all forms of it are now an article of faith.

Mottie et al put a brave face on it but they know they effed up but as they say pride comes before the fall.

The only shame is they will drag the country down with them. Selfish to the end.

When will Brexers admit it's a monumental f*ck up? Have heard we're now importing large numbers of nurses from the Phillipines and doctors from Nigeria. So no free movement from EU to fill these roles, but taking large numbers of medical staff from third world.

"Boris Johnson today rubbished reports that only 27 foreign lorry drivers have taken up the UK’s temporary visa offer, saying his government granted 127 ."

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

"In a separate interview this morning, though, Mr Johnson denied Britain was in crisis at all due to a shortage of labour or that it was facing a “1970s-style inflationary spiral”."

As everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie, this is confirmation that we are indeed reclaiming our place as sick man of Europe. Please form an orderly queue for your candles.

Looking at the chaos all around, I often feel like Sam Tyler from Life On Mars waking up in The 70s. Will the lights still be on? How long before we go cap in hand to The IMF for a bailout?

Mine's a pint of Double Diamond, thanks!

How often do people of faith renounce their religion? They always finds ways to convince themselves their choice is correct. Faith and belief gives many comfort and security and Brexit is something this lot will hold onto because it gives them a little chance to believe that Britain can return to it's past empire and glory. France suffers from this delusion like all countries with crumbled empires but to a far lesser degree, I think we are unique in that sense the longing for a long lost past.

Boris is pontificating more "effectively" today. He must be getting used to the interviews.

They are all shown taking selfies on C4 at the moment but that section has just ended.

Sounds like the triple lock wont this year - that'll please a lot.

The £20 still appears to be going to get back to work pays any work or suffer. That would be ok if it all did pay.

Slight murmurs of increasing min pay levels - always an answer but it does push prices up.

Yes it is all going to level up for most of use but which way? Up or more down. Level up in politic legal speak does not infer a direction.

Not that bothered about Turkey shortages tbh

take it or leave it IMO

said on the radio that due to gas prices going through the roof that will effect the paper industry
There could be a shortage of toilet rolls ?
