Nope I respect the advice given to me by someone who knows what he is talking about I meerly seeked advice on the best path. I will not be doing anything that is unsafe and always look to do things the right way.

I have been thinking about it and I could get the correct transformer base it indoors and run the cable outside tucked near the roof out of sight. Add a dusk till dawn sensor and then install the lights where I need them.

Does this sound ok?

i would still opt for a timer, or you could even have a pir to switch them, either way saves money on running costs
