The ad appears at the top of every page in the diynot forum and asks the reader to click for more information. Probably is genuine but I'm not going to click to find out.

We are pleased to announce that there is an iOS app for iPhone/iPad available, you can browse and post in the forum from within the app and it gives a more tailored layout for in particular the iPhone. We have started with the fundamental features of the forum and we hope to add features as time goes on.

We are seeking feedback and any problems that you encounter so we can continue to improve things in future versions.

An equivalent Android app is on the way but will not be available until early next year, it is definitely in the pipeline.

Strange that Android phones outnumber iPhones (53% Android to 43% Ios) Why would they not develop the Android app first?

Well I reported it, not particularly good posting by Admin.

I noticed that below this questionable ad, there is another ad on a loop which highlights "Instant Fraud Alerts". At a party tonight, not one of 15 guests said that they would click on the "Please read more" option! Is this a genuine ad or not?

More importantly, why would they post an anonymous ad at the top of every page here?

If I've got to ask elsewhere whether an ad I'd genuine or not, then clearly the ad itself, needs clarification.
