Denmark

What do they do

Bacon, butter and pastries

About it really afaik :)

That's great. I hope our government follow the Danes...

Good grief! Our politicians are running around like headless chickens or living in cloud cuckoo land. I think you are hanging out in cloud cuckoo land with them.

Denmark is a massive tax heaven. Companies structure royalty payments via Denmark to avoid tax. They like to make a lot of noise about it because it detracts from the fact that they are at it. Arguably not as much as Benelux, UK Ireland etc. But they are very much at it.

There is a secondary issue, that those employees who's employers "cheat" the system will end up getting fired.

Their unemployment benefits is pretty good at £2,200 a month, so the Danish tax payer will be picking up the bill for those fired/made jobless either way.

UK Carlsberg is pretty lousy, but its very different to Danish Carlsberg which is quite nice. Denmark also home to Maersk which is the largest container shipping company in the world IIRC.
