Avoided the trial? How?
Avoided going to trial, in much the same way many politicians and wealthy do. I don't believe Putin, Dubbya or Trump have ever been on trial either.

Well, I don’t know about everybody else on here but if I’d spent my easily earned dosh on sending my kids to a private school, I’d be pretty ****ed off if they didn’t come out better than the majority of those coming out of state schools. Now come on, be honest, why on earth do you think people send their kids to such places - it’s not to get a bad start in life, is it? And just like private health care, if those students weren’t going to a private school, there would be even bigger classes in the state schools. So in other words, the elite (private) school pupils will benefit...
Provenance.why on earth do you think people send their kids to such places
That may be true for your Gordnstoun's and Eton lot but those kids are generally set for life from birth anyway. I'm talking about your average private schools who most people haven’t heard of.Provenance.

That’s what you're paying for then. Gotta be some benefits or it’s not worth sending your kids there, is it?Top Universities are more likely to look favorably upon private school grades than those that are identical in state schools.
Probably.
I agree.Gotta be some benefits or it’s not worth sending your kids there, is it.
