A not so secret meeting...

As of 12.07 pm UK time some might be interested in median waiting times at ports
Ashford (before release to Dover) 'Being Updated'
Liverpool 37 hrs!
Holyhead 13 hrs!
Hull 36 hrs!
Felixstowe 50 hrs!

Rotterdam (dest Harwich 52 hrs!!) From EU are delays that impact GB *consumers*

If youve noticed fresh produce is not so fresh its because your tomatoes, lettuce etc is stuck at a port waiting for brexit red tape

Quick, get on to that bloke and see if he wants to join this DIY forum - we could do with a few more of those non-DIY related posts on here. I’m sure people are getting sick and tired coming onto this forum to find out useless information about plumbing, electrical and building jobs.

Are they giving out free lunchtime booze at the care home today?
Has the breakfast alcoholic run out already and is on the lookout for a booze bank?

Anything of course to avoid telling us about all these 'brexit bonuses'

Brexiteers could of course try and persuade their infinitely superior opposition by pointing out those wonderful benefits of brexit...

Why can't they do they?

Meanwhile in the real world...

"A slump in business investment since Brexit has cost the UK around £29bn, or £1,000 per household, a Bank of England official has warned.

Jonathan Haskell, a rate-setter on the Monetary Policy Committee, said Britain had “suffered much more” on productivity because of the impact leaving the EU had on business investment.

He said in an interview with newsletter The Overshoot: “If you look in the period up to 2016, it’s true that we had a bigger slowdown in productivity up to 2016, but we had a lot of investment.

“We had a big boom between 2012-ish to 2016, but then investment just plateaued from 2016, and we dropped to the bottom of G-7 countries.”

And just to think that's just one aspect of the financial suicide note.

"Farmers received less than 0.5% of post-Brexit money last year"

Cuts to post-Brexit farming payments mean farms risk “going out of business” as new figures reveal only a tiny fraction of slashed EU subsidies went to agriculture businesses last year"

Imagine if one only had to pay £108 on average to belong to the biggest trading bloc in the world

And then there is the human cost...

"A 74-year-old British woman with severe Alzheimer’s has been threatened with deportation from Sweden over Brexit paperwork she was unable to complete because of her incapacitation.

Kathleen Poole lies bedridden in a dementia care home with no prospect of moving. Her family have told the Guardian that she is facing forced removal to the UK because she has not got an up-to-date passport and financial statements required under the new post-Brexit rules applying to British people in the EU"

This is repeated many times over, and millions of lives/life choices have been wrecked because of an ignorant xenophobic/racist hissy fit!

But then brexiteers have told us time and time and again...

They just don't care!

Ask the swedes to sort it out ?

You mean if the eu f*ck us about long enough Britain will come back due to overwhelming pressure from remainers, then they can do us up like a kipper.
Should imagine that'll make a lot of remainers happy.
Trying to think back on these sunlit uplands I hear talked about when we was in the eu.

Brexers have spent years damaging the nation, and many people are fed up with them, as you know.

The rest of us have to do what we can to reduce the damage.

Mottie is upset because Brexit is such a failure.

If we rejoin the Single Market, that’s exactly what we would get: sunlit uplands.

imagine no paperwork to import or export anywhere across the whole of the EU
imagine no queues at the ports
imagine no delays due to brexit red tape

of course we would lose all those amazing benefits we have currently……whatever they are :ROFLMAO:

EU says we could have had a little crown on the beer glasses if we'd wanted it.

The Daily Wail lied to Brexers. No surprise there.

The Daily Wail lied to Brexers.
The Wail really taps into the strong feelings of The Gammon. Imagine their elation at knowing they can now have a blue passport again. All those billions down the drain, but who cares - a blue passport once more, just like Croatia.

Mucking Brexer forons.

If I didn't recognize them when we were in. lm at a bit of a loss if we go back on worse terms we get sunlit uplands.
Sure it all makes sense in your woodcutters shed.

Not surprisingly you have got the sunlit uplands wrong.

They were what we were to get by leaving.

Just list those benefits, go on. Every brexer seems so shy about them

Ask your local MP how much Brexit has cost the UK since we voted to leave. Then tally that against the paltry sum membership cost us per year. Have a tissue handy. (y)
