As a spark working on a mix of domestic commercial jobs I would like to know how I could legally justify my decisions without referring to BS7671.
If there are other ways to do this I would be happy to know what they are.
All my training and courses led me to believe that BS7671 was the best way to justify my work.
BS7671 is the British Standard which we normally work to as it is a good way of achieving compliance with statutory documents such as P1 of Part P, in the absence of BS7671 we can use the French, German etc equivalents, i.e. Part P does not exclude us from using the other EU states wiring regulations.
