Dan, I'm on my fourth Itie motor, all owned from new, and have had no major or recurrent problems with any of them. Each of them was kept for between 7 and 10 years. (If it ain't broke, why change it.)
A mate with a B*W, bought from new last year, has had it back in for waranty work 3 times in the past 9 months.

Unfortunately, I'm on my first Iti van. Whatever hasn't fallen off by now has stopped working.

Myy first car was Iti... Fiat No. Gearbox broke so garage put a new one in and it grew a fifth gear had to start it by tw@tting the start with my stop cock key.
