abandoned sat dish

There is a building near me due for demolition, it has a prime focus mesh dish on the roof, hard to tell from the gound but it looks about 2m diameter.

The building has been empty for years and i am sure the dish has been abandoned.I am also sure that if i go through the official channels i will get a "no way mate" reply, so i was thinking of approaching the demolition forman and bunging him a few quid!

Anyone ever done this?

You could try as you say, bung the demo guys a few quid. Guess its up the the people who own the building though.

most demolition companies will have a contract to clear the building and remove everything on site. they will price into their tender what they can get from the building, so well worth approaching them, as anything extra they get is a bonus and saves them hassle as well.
