Hi
I would like to put up an above ground pool. It's not big but it takes so much water that I would like to leave it up in the garden (in France not here)

The ideal situation is on a grass area which is a bit uneven. I have a load of building sand left over, can I place it straight on that once smoothed out or would I be better to do something like concrete or paving slabs.

Trying to keep costs down as we are only there during the summer.

Kind regards

depends on what type it is, but building sand will shift when it gets wet.

Thank you Thermo, never even thought of that. I will probably do a frame 4x2 and make it level with concrete. It is a typical blow up overgrown paddling pool made of vinyl with a blow up rim made by Intex.
Thanks again
Regards
