Accenta G3 and power cuts

New fuse was under rated and blew straight away.

I now have a correctly rated new fuse. I shall leave it in for 24 hrs and see if the battery has charged up. If not, and the fuse is ok I replace battery.
If correctly rated fuse has blown it would indicate to me a more serious problem.

Hooray!!!!

It has worked.

With the correct fuse installed, the alarm has recharged the battery. The battery kicks in in the event of a power failure and we no longer have the alarm sounding during a power cut.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has contributed their time and knowledge in this thread to resolve the problem.
