accenta g4/ led keypad

help !!
just installed said panel & keypads but having trouble with program 2 settings.
followed what it says about removal of a zone, but when i key in user code to arm,push "P " key for prog 2, the countdown still continues instead of taking the prog 2 state.
keep reading the book, but i feel a screwdriver through the keypad might soon happen !!!!
anyone talk me through this ??

You will need to set prog 2 to "timed exit" mode
currently it will set to disable (default)
Easy mistake to make

Eg
In engineers mode:
Press P
Then. 2
Then. 6 (exit modes)
Then. 1 (timed) although manual say its disabled but I think it's 0 for disabled
Anyway try both Ways see how you get on

sorry its been a while but just had to come on here to say a huge thanks......flaming book wasnt clear at all but you made it a joy.........and no screw driver holes in anything either.cheers.
