hi..... I have the above intruder alarm installed. 4 days ago the alarm started sounding for no apparent reason. I entered the alarm code but it did not stop . The battery is only about 6 months old. After about half an hour I couldn't stop the alarm so I took out the battery and I connected my 12 volt battery charger to the control box leads that fit onto the battery. The alarm stopped. I tested the battery and it was showing 13 volts. I put the battery back on and the alarm went off again so I reconnected the battery charger. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what the fault can be.

No mains supply or ac supply from transformer …..check fuses

Voltage isn't a true measure of battery condition.

If you removed the battery was the panel still powered up?

Either way connecting a battery charger to the leads may have damaged the panel …

if its damaged now not going to know either way if it was or has been damaged, all we can possible know is if its still okay or not now.
