Accenta Mini G4 Issue

This Alarm is installed in a garage and has worked faultlessly for nearly 10 years.
I replaced the back up battery a month ago, a few weeks later the alarm had a meltdown and went into full alarm.
The keypad displayed tamper and would not respond correctly, I silenced it by removing power and battery from the main unit.
I know how to check for tamper faults but just wondered could a duff battery cause this as that’s all I’ve touched really.
Only other thinking is the tamper spring on the cover is playing up.

Don't guess ....start with checking the tampers for a start ... I would be looking at the bell tamper first ...

All tamper circuits test ok, found bell/strobe fuse blown but unable to retry as no spare.
Cable route ok with no damage, unable to reach bellbox today.
External bellbox 10 years old so maybe a change is due for the sake of £30, does get a hammering from the weather where it is.
