Hello
I am a toymaker, and I need to make extremely accurate 90 degree cross cuts in lime wood 22mmx15mm. I bought a Power Tools mitre saw from BQ, but the 90 degrees appears to be about 89.5 degrees.
Can anyone suggest a mitre saw which will cut really accurate 90 degree cuts?
Any advice welcome.

regards

have you checked for adjustment!!!

if it has a locking ring with notches and secured by screws you simply loosen the screws and move the amount required

or the ajustment may be via hex screws/bolts /nuts/screwsaround the pivot point at the back
look in your operators manual under ajustment

Use a set square and adjust it to correct it.

I have one of the B&Q ones and setting it up correctly was the first thing I did.

ISTR There are little bolts you alter to adjust it.
