ACL Lifestyle LP241 Central Heating timer replace with another model?

G

gcltd

Hi,
We have the above central heating timer but the manufacturer default settings means that if we have a power cut whilst we are away/at work, when the power comes back on this unit reverts to default which means our heating/water is on most of the day.

Is my only option to replace this with another model to stop this because we seem to get a few power cuts in the area - if so can anyone suggest another unit?

Thanks

Replace it with the same, it's a decent, fairly reliable basic programmer.

The problem is actually caused by the power cuts, not the programmer. So, I would be asking UK Power Networks what they were doing to resolve the problem.

keep it easy and replace with the same and then no wiring issues to deal with possibly , click on original base plate and go .

If the battery backup was working it would not matter.

S'good little programmer, user friendly, probably int battery shot.

Disconnect power before replacing!
