Could I use postcrete to fix down a channel drain? I will dig out a trench/channel throw in some mot ballast and then use postcrete. I'm not confident mixing concrete myself however I've seen blue circle do other ready made concretes which are more expensive. Which would be the better option?

Postcrete goes off very quickly, it wont give you much time to set/adjust the Aco's. Better off mixing your own in a barrow or on a board. Use a bag of ballast, couple of shovels of Ordinary Portland cement and slowly add water/more cement as required, whilst mixing with a shovel.

Mixing concrete is the easiest thing ever. 2 bags of ballast and 1/2 bag of cement in a barrow, mix then slowly add water.
