Acoustic sealant

Sorry not sure where to post this TBH. Got a ceiling to board and skim on resilient bars with the acoustic insulation above, if anyone has used the acoustic sealant, any idea if you're meant to put it between all the board joins before scrimming or just round the perimeter of the ceiling?
Any advice appreciated, cheers!

If you have access and it is practical do the perimeter of the floor above too
