My dad used to use one of those to keep cats off his garden  . By the way do you know if it's possible to get replacement elastic for these?

what about the lack of pram wheels these days? has WoW replaced that?

I used to make more Bogeys than a classroom full of kids with bad colds..

The Silver Cross Factory was up in yorkshire so the old prams we used to scavenge from the waste ground allways had a great set of wheels.

Smaller ones at the front and big suckers at the back...

try making a bogie with them flippin mcclaren buggy castors... pathetic..

Ahh Skyboy, we used to have a bogie (in Scotland we called them guiders) made from an old Silver Cross coach built pram. In the winter time we turned it upside down and use it as a sledge. (it had the original chromed suspension in place) Great times.

Yep! That was the way to make them!
We called them 'Steeries' because you had to steer them with a bit of string tied to the front axle!
Great days!
I'm sure Martian wrote a similar thread last year and it ended up on the same ideas!

Get 'em an old pram,a few chunks of wood and a few hand tools and tell 'em to build one of these...No better feeling than riding your own built trolley...

My trolley had a brake handle in the middle behind the driver, One of us would steer - the other stop. We ended up barrel rolling it though.
