Adding external expansion vessel to Vokera compact Qs

Hi all ,
New to the forum after reading many post on expansion tank /vessels I realise I need a new one so . I have got a new 12ltr tank set at 1.5bar I take it that it should be reset to 0.8bar the original is/was?. Secondly is it possible to disconnect the existing hose (drained of course)then connect to the new tank with braided flexi hose (500mm long) to new tank ?. Hope this is possible.

if you actually need a new external expansion vessel it can connect anywhere on the return but near the boiler is best, have never seen an external one connected to the origionall braided hose but there is a first time for everything, have you tried re-pressurising the origional one ?
