Adding FCU to ring

Hi,

I want to add a FCU for a wall mounted heater. Rather than add it as a spur I was going to make it part of the ring as I need to feed another new socket in the area. Is this acceptable or should FCUs be on a spur only?

You can have a FCU as part of the ring yes.
