Hi All

I want to add some sockets in a bedroom and the plan is to run a spur from a socket (on a ring) to these via an FCU with a 13a fuse. From the socket on the ring it'll be about a 3m run to the FCU, then about 10m in total between sockets. As it's protected by the 13a fuse is this length of spur OK?

Part of the spur after the FCU will be in a stud wall - does it need to be clipped and I'm assuming it should travel vertically from each socket into the ceiling then down to the next socket, rather than horizontal (hence the 10m or so run)?

Thanks
