My cooker hood is supplied via a plug and socket that's mounted in the chimney!

Can I add an FCU to this circuit to supply outdoor lights? The socket is fed from a spur off a v small kitchen ring protected by 16 amp breaker.

I actually got that slightly wrong.

The socket in the chimney is run as a radial circuit on its own from the CU.
There is another radial circuit coming from the same breaker supplying a double socket.

Can I still add an FCU to the end of the radial cct in the cooker hood?

I've checked the regs, and the diagram on appendix 15 only shows an FCU being used on a radial cct if its protected by a 30/32 Amp breaker using 4mm T+E!! The socket only has 2.5 going to it.
