Hello. My current loft light setup is an old tube lamp wired to a plug and the plug is passed down from the hatch and plugged into the socket in the hall upstairs. I was wondering if it was possible to do away with that light and install 2 of these and connect it to the wiring/plug that is passed down the hatch and into the hall socket?. It would be a temporary solution until I wire the lights into a switch in the loft. Is this safe to do for now? Thanks

Well yes you can however how often do you use the loft light and why do you wish to replace it with 2 ?
