Hi all,

I've recently fitted a beautiful wooden floor. With a family including children I am now paranoid about damage to this floor. In fact it looks so good, that it would break my heart to see it deterioate; I'm almost regretting fitting it. :(

I fitted it as a selling point really as we'll probaly be selling the house in a couple of years.

I'm thinking about covering it in that adhesive film you can get to protect carpets, until we sell. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? Will the wood come to any harm being covered in the stuff for 2 years?

Thanks
