My ground floor window doesn't look right. there is some gap at one side.

It is hard to describe so I took some photos. Is there a way I can adjust something or do some cheap fix?
Many Thanks

Is that a top hung opener? It looks like the hinge is knackered on the left hand side. New pair of hinges required.

yes, yes, it is a top hung opener. is it difficult to replace window hinge?

Top hung windows can be tricky to take out especially if they are upstairs.
And alignment can be tricky as the fixing holes on new hinges are rarely in the same place as the old hinges.

The hinges themselves are only about £10-15 but it is a fiddly job that may require fixing and removing the sash several times to get it right.

If your not confident get some quotes from local double glazing company's. Your probably looking at about £60-80 supplied and fitted and they take all the risk of dropping the window
