Hi
I've knocked down the wall between kitchen and dining room, and am going to have a hob facing the dining area. I therefore need some kind of ceiling mounted cooking hood, just hanging there.
Couple of questions:
1) Are there any that have an adjustable height, so that you can have it lower while cooker, but higher (and out of the way) the rest of the time?
2) Failing that, what height do you recommend? I sometimes see them at eye level, which to me would seem awkward, as you can't easily lean over a pot to check it. But I guess as you go higher, you need a stronger (and louder) fan to actually be effective
3) Do any of these chimney's need an outlet, or do they have filters that just need changing every so often?
Thanks
Marcos
