Hi
I've taken up the old tiles in my bathroom and plan to lay luxury vinyl flooring. The bathroom had been boarded out in 12mm wbp ply. I have taken the old ply up as it was covered with tile cement and couldn't be reused. I have noticed that the old t&g floorboards have a few high and low spots over the whole area. If i reboard will this compensate for unevenness or will I need to use some levelling compound?

Many thanks

If the old floor was level, then using the 12mm ply again, will achieve a good floor again. If it wasn't good before hand, then rather than using a leveling compound, hire a floor sander to take down the high spots, but don't go too far without knocking the nails lower using a hole punch.
