Hi all just after a bit of advice on raising the roof on a concrete sectional garage.
I am building a panel garage 18ft wide x 16ft length. i previously had a smaller one that i disposed of the old asbestos roof and i found i needed a little more height as i had gym equipment n there.
I am trying to do this the cheapest way possible an easiest without having to have an apex which involves having new steel trusses made and cost more on roofing sheets.
Has anyone done something like this? Thinking to make a timber frame out of 3x2 and raise the front up 600mm and the back 300mm giving it a 300mm slope over 16ft. Have done a quick diagram as an example.
