Advice on D1 use please!

Hi all,

I have just taken the on the lease of an old village hall/parish room. It has D1 use. I'm planning to run arts and craft workshops and parties from there, but I'd also like to serve refreshments and sell arts and crafts materials. I'm confused by whether I will be allowed to do this and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about this.

As long as the sale of the refreshments and materials is genuinely ancillary to the main use, and a small part of it, then you are OK
