Hi,

I’m currently planning a bathroom renovation and have found some tiles that I really like. They’re available in two sizes: 60 × 60 cm and 90 × 90 cm.

Which size would be better suited for wall installation? Also, given that these tiles are quite large, would their weight be an issue for wall mounting?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

You are missing a dimension ?
I would use 60cm but personal preference . Use suitable adhesive for wall type ( also not mentioned ).

You also don't mention size of, and how many walls.
Personally I'm not a fan of square tiles, especially if you're going for 100% on all walls; I'd be going with 30 x 60 tiles. Also note that with a 90x90 tile it will be harder to plan the lay-out, and with Windows and doors to cut around you may end up with a high % scrap .

regarding the weight : 3sqM of tile is 3sqM of tile. Whither it's 10 tiles or 2 tiles doesn't matter ! The only difference is if they're Porcelain or Ceramic.
