Hi all

I'm looking for some advice on a WB greenstar 24i with a Megaflow tank.

We just moved into the house and I'm not sure the most efficient way to run the system...

Do I leave heating and water on 24x7?

Should the boiler be set to maximum?

Apparently when it is on full - in the winter it keeps tripping and needs a trip into the loft to reset so it's been left on 3 - but the Rads don't get that hot!

Also, shower pressures are not great in the house - I was under the impression the Megaflow was meant to help with that?

Any advice would be greatly received!

Thanks

I expect the 24i hasn't been fitted with a bypass. Common fault with numpty installers.

Water flow rate through an unvented cylinder (such as a Megaflo) is conditional on supply dynamic flow from the street.

If there's no bypass fitted you can bet there are other problems too; lousy jobs always have defects in threes.

Thanks simond!

Big job to sort?

And once that's done - what's the best way to run it? 24x7 or a couple of hours a day?
