I don't think I've seen many cut outs of that vintage that hasn't leaked some amount of pitch.

The DNO have said as above, if it's visibly leaking or hot then it's a problem, otherwise don't worry about it.

The pitch looks fairly clean and shiny so might be recent.

If you want to check again, observe for heat and smell when you have been running your heaviest electrical loads, such as electric shower or multiple electric heaters. Your supply looks unusually large for a domestic installation, I wonder if you have a workshop or agricultural machinery.

The service head is quite a large one but the service cable doesn't look much bigger than most
