Aeg cooker. Element?

Aeg competence u7101-4 oven , installed march 05
In last year lulled out and it back in after new kitchen fitted , cos of water damage to floor
Problem in lower oven. Turn it on and element warms up, fan comes on when required , fan selector button will light up when fan on.
The customer whose boiler I service has said mcb trips on this oven.all I could get to happen is , when turning off the main oven temperature control to zero the rcd tripped on the side of the ccu which has the cooker mcb on it
Is this an element fault?

It's possibly the element, a continuity and insulation resistance test on the element would answer that question.
It is possible that moisture has got in to the element and it needs drying out.
