Thanks for help given on my previous post, installing a new Bosch oven.

I wondered what people thought of this.

If you read on my previous post you will know that I was not totally happy with how the "builders" completed my house some 10 years ago. Well, after changing the MCB from 32 amp to 16 amp on the oven circuit (thanks JohnD) I thought I would check the other circuits in the house. Besides, the labeling on the consumer unit was in pencil and illegible so I decided after 10 years to neaten it up in pen.

When testing the central heating circuit I discovered the extractor fan above the gas hob was on the same circuit! Do you think this was a mistake or is there a reason for that?

Have a great weekend.

Perhaps not the way I'd do it, but I can't see anything wrong with it, both low current devices on FCUs, he has obviously decided that as he has put a circuit in to feed the boiler FCU that it would be easier to put the extractor FCU on this as well, instead of putting it on the ring final
