We recently had our living room/dining room skimmed, and the plasterer plastered over the air brick on the dining room chimney breast. The living room chimney breast has a 'real fire' type gas fire, with an open vent going up the chimney. The room is fully central heated, and the windows have vents which are open at all times.

Will this be a problem? Should I drill some holes through the chimney breast to recreate an air brick?

I have noticed some moisture on the coldest wall recently, but we have been drying clothes on the radiators as we don't have a tumble dryer, and it is too wet to put them outside!

Condensation risk if you do not replace air vent and stop drying clothes indoors, very unhealthy.
