Hi There, i have 2 air bricks below my floor level where i am building my new extension. my question is considering i have several other air bricks in the house, do i need to extend these 2 air bricks through the concrete floor and out the new wall?

If i do, all i was planning on doing was placing a 4 inch hsoil pipe over the air brick to a new air brick on the new external wall? does that sound right or do i need to get any special kit to do the venting?

Thanks in advance.

thats what i would co,make sure you seal the pipes to the back of the airbricks as best you can then run it under the concrete to sub floor.

Went down a similar path recently and was pointed towards this thread:

The pipe to square converters are available from Allmat on the Godstone Road (go down to Purley Tesco's, past the station, under the bridge and towards Whyteleafe) ;)

Thanks again to oldun for that tip.

Thanks for the tip, i know them and will pop along and grab a few.

Do you think i can get away with just extending one brick, the controller has already been round and didnt say anything but i dont want this to come back to haunt me....

Thanks
