I am fitting and air conditioning metal unit to the side of my house, I have three overhead cables coming in at the side, the outdoor unit will be about 75 cm, 30 inches away from these wires. These wires are covered in plastic looks like Live and neutral the earth is bare wire, will it be ok to work and fit the unit this close to these wires/cables????? Thanks Bri.

The diatances you refer to are for safe working distances and not for mounting spacing. Can you take a photo of the cables? Providing the cables are insulated then you should be ok, but you would be better getting a definative answer from your DNO.
