Apologies if this is on the wrong thread but would really appreciate any help and advice on the following:

As I understand it, within 5 years domestic gas boilers will no longer be allowed to be installed within new builds?

Air source, district heating and ground source will be the only options on new Builds?

If Air source was installed into older properties then what are common issues and problems when installing?

Who are the leading manufacturers in Air source?

Many thanks in advance, really appreciate any help or info.

Assuming that actually goes ahead. It's been attempted several times before.

Air source is the only likely option.

Same as any property - it must be insulated to a very high standard and the system must be suitable for the heat emitters installed in the property - a low temperature output ASHP for underfloor heating, or a high temperature output for radiators.
As with any heating system, it must be properly designed and sized for the heating and hot water requirements of the property.

Who are the leading manufacturers in Air source?
Daikin and Mitsubishi.

Night storage electric may also be an option.

An issue with ASHP is noise; it could annoy your neighbours.
