Hello,

I am having some asbestos insulation boards removed from my airing cupboard. They make up the ceiling and one wall. The other side of the airing cupboard wall is an interior void between two interior walls. What material should I use when I repair the cupboard? Wood, plasterboard, another type of insulating board, or something else?

Thanks for looking.

12mm plasterboard or MR-MDF will do. Insulation in the void is a good idea (mineral wool, fibreglass, Celotex, etc)

Thanks for replies. Yes it will remain an airing cupboard.
