Hi - just fitted a new Airvac (B&Q) NTX 100T bathroom/toilet fan to my daughter's flat, to replace a very old bathroom ceiling fan which had stopped working - but the thing refuses to work! When I pull the isolation switch cord, I see a brief flicker of light in the indicator on the fan, but no action.

Any ideas, other than faulty fan?

Thanks as always!

Timer fan. So how many wires are connected to this and have you checked they are in the correct terminals?

Checked the terminals. The wiring going into the fan is normal L, N and earth. But I now see the isolator is single pole - I assume it should be double?

Tell me how many terminal there are on this fan?

A timer fan normally has three terminals, live, switched live and neutral. You just have a live, neutral (+earth). How have you wired it up?
