Alarm Pin Drop

My brother said his alarm had gone crazy so i had a look at it and it was all red. Not responding to the usual reset, i ripped out the battery and fuse and the box was still going (as it has its own battery unit).

I noticed at the bottom of the box there was a U shaped pin that i assume has dropped out. Can anyone use their eagle eyes and spot where the pin went?

i have not traced any wires and if i do i would be one step closer to ripping out this box and replacing it with a texecom because whoever installed this box put it in the most inconvenient place ever and i need a keypad.

What light / lights where lit ?
How old is the battery ? Was there a power cut ?
What shows now when you try to reset it ? ( make sure front is back on )
The link was probably a spare in the bottom of the panel ....

ALL Lights on the alarm box (when cover is on) is red

The battery is about 6 years old, no issues with it and it still working fine. Power was cut twice. When the alarm bell went off i removed fuse and battery only to find out the bell box had its own battery.

What shows now when you try to reset it ? ( make sure front is back on )
You cannot reset it, i have tried before, all LEDs are red, does not respond to any reset or command.

Not too sure, i assumed it was connected as all the alarm panel is lit up red and not responding to anything when i reconnect the power and front.

Ok step by step remove bell + wire ( red) power up panel mains only ...no battery ...internal alarm should sound ....if so enter your 4 digit code ....does it stop ? If not enter 01234 does it stop ?
Then post back ...

tried this after the bell went off twice before. I disconnected the bell to stop it annoying neighbours, powered it all back up. All lit up red. every light, power, reset, tamper etc all red. I need to some how figure out what this all red error means
